See your threat and
risk landscape. Prepare. Decide.
Verify what you rely on — across your company and industry — before any report arrives, before any decision is made.
Threats, risks, and positioning across your company and industry — all angles, on demand, before any report arrives.
Walk into every leadership conversation already ahead — before briefings, before meetings, before decisions.
Make decisions from a complete, verified picture — not just what the report said, but what the landscape actually shows.
Your intelligence agent.
Patient. Precise.
Always watching.
"She doesn't react. She reads the terrain — and tells you what the threat reveals before anyone else sees it."
Mikko is the AI intelligence agent at the center of Matsui's research — built to read the terrain across all eight threat and risk domains, mapping variables and surfacing risks at every branch. In development now. Launching soon.
Walk into every
conversation already ahead.
Matsui is not another report. It is your primary intelligence layer — company-wide and industry-wide, on demand. A report is just one signal among many.
Build intelligence before the conversation
Before any briefing arrives, Matsui gives you the full landscape — threats, risks, market positioning, industry peers — so you know what to verify and what to challenge before your team walks in.
Verify and challenge with confidence
When information conflicts or feels incomplete, Matsui gives you the grounding to push back — from verified, rounded context across your company and industry, not just what engineering surfaced.
See what threat reports miss
Threat reports give you indicators — IP addresses, threat actors, IOCs. Matsui gives you the bigger picture: who else in your industry was affected, what the market implications are, how peers are responding.
Decide from a complete picture
Walk a decision tree with Mikko — branch by branch — mapping every risk and angle before committing. Intelligence that moves, not just informs.
Built for the executive
who refuses to decide blind.
Matsui begins with a single observation: the executives who shape industries are working from the same fragmented, filtered, secondhand intelligence as everyone below them — just with higher stakes attached to every call they make.
We built Matsui to change that. Not by producing more reports. By giving executives the intelligence layer they never had: a comprehensive, rounded view of threats and risks across their company and industry — on demand, before decisions happen. A report is just one signal. Matsui is the full picture.
The name draws from the Japanese. 松 (Matsu) — pine — patient rootedness and endurance through adversity. 井 (I) — well — the deep source. What you draw from when the surface is dry. Together: intelligence rooted in depth, available at the moment it matters.
We are in intentional formation — working directly with a small cohort of senior executives across six regions to pressure-test core hypotheses and ensure Matsui solves the actual problem, not a convenient approximation of it.
Four principles.
One standard.
A report is a signal. Matsui is the source. Executives should build their intelligence picture before any briefing arrives — company-wide, industry-wide, on their timeline.
Walking into a conversation already informed changes its outcome. Matsui is designed for the time before the meeting — not the debrief after.
The ability to challenge your team from verified, rounded context — not just seniority — is what separates directive leadership from informed leadership.
We do not measure success by intelligence quality. We measure it by the quality of the decision it enabled. If it didn't move something forward, it failed.
Not another briefing.
The layer before it — and after.
Matsui is being built as a body of research and insights on the threat and risk landscape — across company and industry — and on the questions of AI trust, identity, and governance that decision-makers are only beginning to ask.
Every risk, every angle —
mapped before you decide.
Eight domains. Each branch reveals its sub-threats and risks. Mikko maps every branch — company exposure, industry context, competitive positioning — so every decision is made from a complete picture.
Every decision lives at the center of a terrain. The tree is that terrain — and every branch is a risk domain you must see before you act.
No domain stands alone. Geopolitical risk feeds legal exposure. Security threats reshape market positioning. We see the whole tree — not just the branch in front of you.
A decision is never singular. It branches — into risk, into context, into consequence. The tree maps where each branch leads before you commit to a direction.
Eight domains. One center. Intelligence that holds the entire structure simultaneously — so executives never have to choose which branch matters most without seeing all of them.
This is the intelligence layer we are building — the ability to see every threat domain, every sub-risk, every connection — before the report arrives and before the meeting begins.
Rooted. Deep.
Available when it counts.
Endurance Under Pressure
The pine holds its form through every season. Matsui intelligence remains stable when markets shift, narratives change, and certainty becomes scarce.
Depth on Demand
A well provides access to what already exists beneath. Matsui surfaces what is already true, already in motion — before others find it.
From Signal to Decision
Applied means it moves. Matsui intelligence is produced to change what an executive does next. That is the only measure that matters.
Three layers of support.
One clear outcome.
The AI intelligence agent at the center of the research — built to surface the complete threat and risk picture across all eight domains and map the decision tree branch by branch. In development now.

I didn't find
the gap. I worked
inside it for twenty years.
Building the future of Trust Intelligence.
"The intelligence that should have driven the decision either arrived too late, was too diluted to act on, or had been filtered into something unrecognizable by the time it reached the person who needed it."
Why this, why now
After two decades across Fortune 100 technology and consulting — operating at the intersection of AI governance, security strategy, and executive decision-making — I kept watching the same failure repeat. Not because executives weren't capable. Because the intelligence they were working from wasn't built for them.
Matsui is my answer to that. Built from the inside out — not from a product team's hypothesis, but from direct experience sitting in rooms where the right signal would have changed everything, and watching it arrive too late or not at all.
The cross-sectional advantage
Most intelligence tools are built from a single domain's perspective. My career has never been confined to one. I operate at the intersection of security, engineering, product, business, privacy, and more — and AI governance is the new field rising across all of them. That cross-sectional vantage is what Matsui runs on.
Research and insights
Matsui begins as a body of research and insights — mapping the questions enterprises are only starting to ask about the agents, systems, and inherited permissions they've quietly come to depend on. That work is launching soon.
Thought leadership on AI trust, identity, and governance
The focus is narrow and deliberate: AI trust, identity, and governance — where misplaced trust in the systems an organization relies on becomes the exposure no one was watching for. This is the future of Trust Intelligence, and it is what Matsui is being built to advance.
